Hi there! I’m Melanie, a native English speaker with a passion for education and making meaningful connections with my students. As an ESL teacher with a CertTESOL certification, I have spent several rewarding years developing engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles, whether online or in-person. My journey has taken me from private tutoring to teaching at various institutions in Hong Kong and Canada, where I’ve loved seeing my students grow and thrive.I believe that learning should be fun and inspiring, and I strive to create a warm, supportive environment in my classroom. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Putonghua, I connect easily with a diverse range of learners. My goal is to empower students to reach their full potential through innovative and effective educational strategies.Learning English in Hong Kong is both accessible and enriching! With me as your tutor, we’ll focus on a creative approach to language that shifts away from just exam scores. I tailor lessons to meet your specific needs, ensuring you enjoy the process while effectively improving your skills. Conversations are key to enhancing your speaking abilities, and together we’ll engage with English in real-world contexts, making learning a joyful experience that boosts your confidence and fluency.I am available for tutoring sessions between 10 AM - 8 PM on weekdays and 10 AM - 4 PM on weekends.
